Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

I have purchased land in 1998 from the sellers who belongs to Dhobi community. Dhobi community falls under Schedule Caste, probably. The land is agreecultural land on a highway. The papers are cleared and also I got compensation when some portion was acuquired by Govt. I came to know that buying a land from Schedule Caste might create complication. What is the fact? What action should I take?

in fact buying a land from schedule caste, will not creat any problem, but if the person belonging to schedule caste was assigned the land by govet. as land less poor then the assigned lands cannot be sold or purchased.

you received the compensation when some portion was acquired by the govt. its a valid point to prove that the land is clear, and you have valid title as, it is only after conducting an enquiry compensation is awarded as per Land Acquisition Act.
