Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

I would like to ask question about ancestral property. My grandfather had land and after his death it came to my father name but grandfather did not made any will. Now we are two brothers and my younger brother is close to my father. Now he started selling the land like developing the land without much consent of me. I haven't received any money from him but he said he could help me in future. In this case what right do I have on this land or property which owned by him currently but grandfather made it without will. Can I stop him for selling the property. Or can i claim anything on my name. What share I owe as per Hindu act on ancestral land. Please advice. I live in overseas while everything is based in india.
