Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
Actually i have a question concerning residential property , actually we have been living in our resident as a tenant for 45 yrs , although we are tenants here but i just want to know that can we take the ownership of our house since its been more than 45 yrs for us living here , i would like to know that is there any law that entitles us to claim as an owner . i would also like to know how can we become the owner of it . I would be oblized to get an answer to my question as its becoming very confusing as well as problemati issue for me .

yes you can become owner, if the real owner did not turn up and nobody ask you any rent etc. for more detail send your complete details at
No. "Once a tenant, always a tenant". You may get ownership right ONLY if you purchase the property from true owner.
Ownership is possible only if your landlord is willing for transfer of ownership.
