real estate land grabing

what are the options available to me when a person forcefully occupies a piece of land.he claims that it is double registered. no evidence or proof found to proove the same.EC from SRO says that i am the sole owner. the person wants the plot owners to sell the property to him only for a v.petty amount. he is politically strong. please advise.

First of all kindly provide me with the following Details so that we may be equiped enough to answer your querry :

State where the Land is situated

Which all Documents you possess to prove that the land is in your name ?

Do you only Have GPA or do you possess any other Papers also.

The Electricity Meter is in whose name ?

Who is Paying the charges and Taxes to Authority ?

File appropriate civil suit. You may also consider approaching the High Court with appropriate writ.
