what is the status of displacedpersons (compensation and rehabilitation ) act of 1954 in India and in the state ofUttar Pradesh ? what is the status of prohibition on the sale of properties allotted under such act in the india and in the state of Uttar Pradesh? whether SCI has imposed any restriction on sale on the properties allotted under said act ? whether SCI has removed any such restriction on the sale of such properties , please mention date of such prohibition/ removal of prohibition .

In UP i am not certain, but the law in India is almost same. Anyhow in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh. Law is valid but you can resale the property as per your wish and as per new law when you will be displaced then govt will allot you a plot also.

The Act is valid. Re-sale of property purchased by a buyer from the department will depend upon terms and conditions of sale.
