Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
We had recently purchased a site which was previously a revenue land, but now converted to bmp.
In the sale deed, the survey number had been wrongly mentioned because of which we had made another rectification deed.
Now, In the rectification deed, the House list number is wrongly mentioned in the body of the deed. But the survey number, site number and house list number is correctly mentioned in the SCHEDULE portion of the deed. Would this discrepancy cause any problems or is it ok since the SCHEDULE portion has the correct value.

It may be better to get the records properly corrected. The description of property should be the same at both the places - the body of the deed and the schedule.
