Registration of Power attorney
Registration of Power of attorney Is it compulsory in India, as per existing law? pl confirm.

Depends on nature of power. Generally, a power of attorney giving powers of execution and registration of documents pertaining to transfer of immovable property required to be registered with signature, thumb impression and photographs of both grantor and grantee in most of the States.

No, registration of PoA is not compulsory, but registration helps in proving the document and increases its evidenciary value in court. A document which transfer property with value of hundred rupees or more is required to be compulsarily registered.
