Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

my registry of house is with my uncle,i have got the copy of it ,now i want to sell it,but i m afraid whether it under any debt or mortagrgd ,how can i know, that can i sell it or not,being the real registry is not with me.

you cannot sell the house without original documents as the buyer would ask for it to keep as link documents
