Remedy for trespass

My relative trespassed on my property 3/4 yr. ago.I want my possession & compensation for this trespass. WHAT IS THE POSITION UNDER LIMITATIONS LAW?

3/4 years.......... you can file suit for recovery of possession and damages. Limitation is on your side.

For taking the possession the limitation is 12 years and for compensation the limitation is three years.
