renovation for my windows

i have a flat with terrace connected to it for which i have a door and window i wanted to have a french window in replacement which is any way a 1/4 wall and does not have any pillars ,but the society is not allowing us to do so they say that the building will have leakage and also spoil the look of the building want some solution cause after purchasing a terrace flat i want to use it at the most please help

You may need to comply with the bye-laws and decisions of the society applicable in such cases.

Check whether it is permissible by municipal authorities. If yes, provide an undertaking to the society to repair & rectify leakage, if any.

Look of building may not be relevant factor.
