Rent in Pagdi system

Hi,

We stay in a pagdhi house and currently the landlord is not taking rent from the whole bldg. Reason is he wants to go for redevelopment and since most of the tenants are not ready, he is doing this. Does this have any implications/problems

Yes. Start remitting rent by Money Order and preserve all receipts and refused slips etc.
