Respected Sir,
Ist of all I am grateful for your kind advice.
My brother-in -law transferred the house in his name after the DEATH OF HIS MOTHER. My wife was not informed about this transfer. Sir, whether my wife can claim the share in that house although a period of about four months has elapsed.Whether the transfer of the house is legal? Please reply urgently to my humble request, Sir.I shall be grateful.

your wife has an equal share in the property unless your brother in law shows that there exists a will of property in his favour. however, even the will can be challenged if it is not authentic.
