Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Respected sir,

i got marriage on December 2006. In march 2007 brother in law registered gift settlement deed (By taking money - Agriculture land) in favor of me to the extent of 2.00 acres in Sub registrar office. In oct'2011 my wife filed false 498A and consequently DV Case with respect to the words of her mother and brother.

I had Patta pass book , Title Deed and Adangal/ROR(Form-1B). Now Brother in law blackmailing me through legal notice stating that the land belongs to him as it was gifted.

Please give reply how can i proceed further against him.

What i have understood is that your BIL gifted you 2 acres of agricultural land in your favour by taking money ? Is it true ? Please confirm .
