how to revoc/cancel power of atorney
my spinster sister has property in nashik. she being in service not stayihg there. nephews are occuping it. they started commercial actvities there. one of them claim that he has POWER ofATORNEY ;which my sister dosent remember has given to anybody. kindly let me know how to deal with the situation?how to revoc/ cancel the P.A(if at all given)? urgent please.

Send appropriate communication by Registered Post A.D. to person claiming to be attorney as per advice of your lawyer.

You can issue a legal notice to the nephew, who claims the execution of power of attorney, intimating that no power of attorney was executed in his favour and even assuming the existence of such POA, the same is being canceled. Also publish in the local daily a public notice intimating the public not to deal with the said person with regard to the properties mentioned there.

You may contact a local lawyer for preparing a "Cancellation/Revocation Deed" and get the same registered. You may also insert a publc notice / advertisements in local news paper notifying that you do not have any GPA and that no one is authorized to deal with your property.
