Only General Power of Attorney and Mortgage Deeds can be cancelled, but so far as Sale Deed is concerned, it can be got cancelled through civil suit for cancellation of documents. It takes time and demands the reasons for its annulment.

It has to be cancelled in court of law.

If it is mutual cancellation, then same can be done by a registered document.

If it is not mutual cancellation, you need to approach court.

Yes, in India, one may seek a declaration from civil court for cancellation of a sale deed if sufficient grounds are made out.

sale deed can be cancelled by the court concerned as the executor or vendor has to show sufficient reason for cancelling the same e.g. non payment of consideration or some other cogent reason.
