Considering Section 8A and 29 of The Goa, Daman and Diu Mundkars (Protection from Eviction) Act, 1974 and the Bombay High Court (Panaji bench) Judgment i Writ Petition No. 623 of 2009 wherein it has been held that 'the Mundkar Act was meant to be a measure of protection and not creation of new rights'; can a person's claim for Mundkarship after the appointed date as per the said Act, survive?
