Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

we were to sell a land to a person, he paid a token amount later we got to know that the mediator gave us a wrong and very low market price details now we want to stop the transfer. the whom we were to sell now send a lawyer notice saying deal has been done to sell it and he is demanding to finish it by taking the rest of the money. now what can we do to stop our land from selling it to him?
