what is a service apartment& weather commercial charges are applied for property tax &electricity charges etc.even though the flat is registered under maharashtra ownership flat act?& the society is registered under maharastra co-op housing society act.It is purely a residential building & from our understanding it is referred to as service apt in registration document is that area of building comes under special economic zone & all the other buildings in that paricular area is purely residential

MOFA and Mah Co-op Soc Act are applicable to residential as well as commercial premises.
Get exact information from the local authority levying property tax and corporation levying electricity charges. You may consider invoking RTI for this purpose.
