Sir, my house is in old sangvi, pune27. I'm living at the add. since 1983. The location of my house is approx. 200m away from river. We were told that there was a road to be constructed which was decided previously in a town plan. Already many illegal housings are built on the road area. So they were given prior notice to demolish their houses. My house was denied for 'gunthewari' by municipal corporation as the road to be made was cutting a little portion of my house. But now I've yet not received any notice from the same. Before a year the corporation men did red marking on house and we were told that the road is to be widen till this marking. Now after a year this marking extended a more about five feet, thus cutting one fourth of my house.
Also the issue is that on the opposite side of the road is a school building run a local corporator. But the construction of the building lies within the flood line of the river. Now the new marking is done by measuring from the compund wall of the school building. The corporator is trying to save his land. What shall we do in this case to get the right road plan. Also how can i save my house getting cut in road widening.

In case your house is constructed with appropriate prior permissions, then you need not worry.
In case your house is an unauthorized construction, then better start looking for alternate accommodation.
