Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
Sir, i was a partner of 33% in a factory. The whole land of that factory was on the name of firm which was transferred earlier by our other ex-partners through degree of court. Now i am also retired from its partnership a few years ago through a retirement deed. But in that retirement deed there is no reference of transfer of my share of land. There is only a simple reference that "assets and liabilities of the firm will under take by the continuing partners" in that retirement deed.
Now, my question is that whether i am owner of my share(1/3) of land untill and unless it is transfered by me to continuing partners of the firm or by that retirement deed, it was automatically transfered to continuing partners.
