Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Sir, in the sale deed there are 3 mistakes i.e., 2 boundaries South and East plot Nos are interchanged and west road dimension (40' instead of 33' ). In schedule property dimensions are interchanged. when we are executing a rectification deed the registrar is demanding full stamp duty. Please advice me and quote some citations of the Courts in this regard. I will be very grateful.

Registrar is wrong. If there is no change in the price or area of the property sold, the correction or rectification will attract only the minimum stamp and registration charges.

You may approach his superiors like collector of stamps, Dy.I.G.R.
