Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Sir,

I have a peice of lant and 3 years ago i wanted to i wanted to construct flats on it and for that i went in to an agreement with one of my friend who is a promoter also for a joint venture. land is mine, construction is his and i gave land possession also to him , this agreement is done on 20 Rs stamp paper. for some or other reasons its delayed and work not been done.... as i dint liked his attitude. now i dont want to go in to the venture. can i now ignore that guy or wht i should do now, as the agreement done before 3 years is it still valid ? If i proceed with my own construction what will happen?

talk to the guy about ur wish of nt continuing venture with him ...may he himself is not intersted

rest the agreement is valid .. and if u by pass that he can sue for performance of contract or damages for breach of contract

rest the proper legal advise wuld be given once u tell the contents in the agreement

Validity or otherwise of agreement can be ascertained by reading the terms and conditions contained in such agreement.
