Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
Hi Sir/Mam, I have a query regarding my land in kerala. I have 22 cents of land which was an ancestral property. Out of this 18 cents which is in front has been totally given to me.4 cents whihc comes behind is four 4 people including me.Now they are asking for huge amount for their portion in this 4 cents which wont work out. Question is can i sell the remaining 18 cents excluding this 4 to a third party. WIll there be an issue for road to this 4 cents which comes behind. IN that case if i sell this will teh third party will have to give way. Please advice

1st I would suggest you to change the name in the doucment then make the sell proceedes...
yes the others can make an issue and it would not be advisible to sell the remining 4 cents without division of the land... for details kindly mail me at
Subject local laws, one may sale his/her property as per general law viz. Transfer of Property Act.
