Hello Sir,

Thanks for replying to my question that after my father's death, it's my family(mom and my siblings) who are legal heirs of the plot.

What is the procedure and cost of legally transferring the property in our name? Is it a percentage of the cost of the plot and can it be done from your office?

each state and the local authority has its own rules for such transfer. You first have to clarify whether the property is lease hold or free hold.
