Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

I and my sister have a peice of land in joint ownership. We want to gift it to our parents by gift deed. We are both working and are in a different city so it will be very difficult for us to travel to our home town for doing the gift deed formalities. Can we both give a power of attorney to our parents to do the gift deed in their name by themselves? Or can only one of us go to home town to do the formalities or is it unavoidable for both of us to go? Please explain how we can do the gift deed with most ease.

it is advisable that you both go as you both are staying in india and the gift deed needs to be registered.
