Society association harrassment

Dear Sir,

I leave in a gated community in Bangalore, INDIA. Ours is independent row houses, where we own the land on which duplex house is constructed. But it is inside a gated community and we became association members by taking possession of house from builder automatically.

But now a days association is making rules, regulations every now and then and trying to harrass us, if we have different opinion on the rules or regulations or go against the managing committe.. under this situation pls help us what to do. We have spent lot of money in buying houses and now we are being harrassed by association. Association is forcing the rules and regulation on us without our knowledge and consent. Pls help.

You should better participate in the decision making process of the Association.

The decisions of the Association may be challenged in a civil court if something is found illegal or arbitrary. You should bear in the mind that the litigation may be costly and time consuming without any certainty about reuslts.
