Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

as our society collected fund for repair but due to two member cant pay for the same we have to stop further collection .we have collected 50000 per 22 member out of 24 member of society. now society do not ready to pay us back that collected money .can they? or they can use that for any other society purpose. If amount is collected for specific purpose and over and above regular maintenance, then members can ask society to refund, if that amount is not spent/utilized for that purpose.

For use of that amount for other purpose, society will be required to call a AGM or EGM of all members to decide the issue.
