Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
i am the last son of my parents. They have one elder daughter and four sons. My father died of heartattack. He has left fixed deposits and shares. In which he was the first holder and my mother is the second holder. On each particular F.D cerficate my father had mentioned each son's name as nominee. Third one has taken away one FD forcely as his name has been quoted as nominee. In fact, our mother underwent both by-pass and open heart surgery. Though She is drawing pension, she needs money. So my question is that whether she can change all FDs' and shares into money and utilize for her treatment and medicines. Shall I have to show the expenses of mother to my brothers?

Irrespective of "nomination", all the legal heirs are entitled to inherit equally.
