Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
Hi - Is son's signature required on sale deed at the time of registration when father or mother sells & registers the property to the buyer ? (when mother and father's age is about 80 years or more). If the signature is required, for what type of property such a signature is required ? Because land properties can either be acquired/bought or given as part of family hereditary. Is there any law that references to such need ?

Depends on nature of property and personal law governing that person.

In case of ancestral or hereditary or joint family property the sons signature is essential.
