Stamp duty amnesty scheme 2008
I purchased flat in VASAI 2004 in builinding constructed in 1983, I am the third buyer of this flat.

while purchasing I paid the stamp duty and did the registation , the second buyer also paid the stamp duty while purchasing. but the 1st buyer purchased the flast in january 1986 but I dont' have the original documents, can you sugguest i need to pay stamp duty on the same under amensty scheme.

pls be noted I have submitted all the origianl documets to bank while i have taken the housing loan, also advise where I will get the 1st agreement copy

Check registration office for the copy, since till 1989 or so, agreements without full stamp duty used be registered.

You may obtain a copy of the first agreement either from the society or from the office of Registrar.
