Dear Sir / Madam,

Your question is incomplete.

By affidavit, are you referring to registration of the room transfer in the name of the buyer with the Registrar of Land & Properties in your State ?

If you have already received the full consideration as agreed on the property with the seller, you remain legally bound to sign the transfer of the room in the Office of the Property Registrar in the buyer's name

It will also depend on the prevailing time limitations for transfer specified by the State in which your property belongs, for any fines and penalties payable for the delay in registration.
