what is the status of registered document in which used stamps are beyond the limit means stamps used in document are after six months

the stamp papers are invalid and the same need to be returned to the registry for issuance of fresh stamp papers. the deed executed on such documents may be invalid.

In 2008, Supreme Court held / laid that there is no expiry for stamp paper. Period of 6 months specified is meant for claiming refund only.
