Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
I stay in a house which was taken on pagdi system about 18 years ago. the land property is actually in the name of his father-in-law and he was died long before. The landlord till date not paying any assessment tax neither provide any facility to his tenant while he is collecting rent from each tenant. Now the building is in a very poor state now and needs reconstrution. the landlord however appoint a developer to develop the said property. However the developer doesn't provide any assurity or bank guarantee to the tenant. what we do? suggest

you may have to approach the court for seeking appropriate orders for demolition of a dilpidated building.
