Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
I am staying in India, Kerala State. My question is related to Easement Act. I purchased a piece of land behind a house and I have been given 10 feet path to the property from the nearby road with all rights for vehicular movement, laying water pipe, telecommunication lines etc. to the property by the previous owner through a sale deed. He also built compound wall around his house and this path lies outside his house compound. Now he tries to put a gate at the entrance of the path near the public road which will be a hindrence to me as it will reduce the width of the path. I want to know whether he has any right to do so while has given me all easement right of the land as a path way.
I will be much obliged if I get a reply at the earliest as the issue is very live now. I can approach the local police immediately to stop the work if they are at fault.

no he has no ryt u can stop him by complaining him in police station or filing a suit for injunction
