Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

in a suit for specific performance, the agreement to sale was executed in year 1991 and not registered(not a problem). suit within time and willingness not a problem. The only problem is in the schedule. the schedule specifies the boundaries but not the extent of land. The case was lost in the lower court and appeal filed in high court which is pending disposal within 2 to 3 days. Can this lacuna be condoned / altered?. we have got certified copies of the extent of land mentioned in several letters written by seller to governmental agencies now. this was not filed in lower court as it was not an issue and not a point raised by seller(s). In fact they have not lead evidence or cross examined plaintiff.
