Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

tansfer of flat

I bought a flat in mumbai some 3 years back, and now after i got married i have given the flat to my younger sister and mother to stay(not legal formalities)

Now what procedure should i follow that society does not have any problem with my family. they have been regularly demanding a power of attorney. should they have a copy of my POA or a simple letter from me should suffice.

they dont have any right to ask for a POA if there are no issues(maintanance etc)

Re: tansfer of flat

Do you want to transfer the flat in the name of your mother or sister?

In case the flat is meant only for their residence without any transfer, neither any POA nor a letter is required since both of them are your very close relatives and flat can be used by them.

Bye laws of society are required to be perused.

Normally no such POA or any letter is required.

Re: tansfer of flat

Mother and sisters are part of your family hence there is no reason for any formality. They are living in permissible occupation of flat.
