Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
Hi,
TNHB(Tamilnadu Housing Board) has alloted a vacant land to Mr Chandrasekar
Chandrasekar has given a registered POA to Fathima stating she has all rights to sell the property.
Fathima has given Affidavit to TNHB stating she is the POA to TNHB.
TNHB has given Sale Deed in favour of Chandrasekar represented by Fathima. In Sale deed, Fathima's
signature and photo is available (near photo named as power agent of chandrasekar)
Now my question is :
a) Who is th owner of that land
b) Is it a valid document
c) Can i purchase this land
d) Does chandrasekar has any rights on the property now.
1 Answer from Attorneys
Chandrasekar is the owner and has rights in property now. The document is valid and you can purchase provided both Chandrasekar and Fathima sign the sale deed.
