Transfer of property from my father's name
Sir,
There is one plot on my father;s name I want to get it transfered on my or my wife's name with minimum fee charges. There is no hitch from my fathers side on transfering the same. pl tell me.

If father execute a WILL , it will devolve only after his death, the will do not require any fees, if you want to have the property during his life time, may be gift deed, however check with local law that applicable for regiseration , it varies state to state.

If there is a sale transaction in respect of self acquired property of your father by him, then he can do so.
