Transfer of property

I sold a small room in the cellar floor which is an unauthorised construction. It was dismantled by the corporation. The buyer filed suit to return the sale consideration on the plea of misrepresentation. suit decreed without cancelling the sale deed.The plaintiff even did not ask for it nor the court cancelled it. I am going in for appeal. what wud be the outcome. kindly guide me.
