Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
My uncle is a tenant for last 30 years in Pagdi system house. He does not have any children. I am staying with him from last 40 years. Can I have tenancy right tramsferred in my name. He has not adopted me. Will landlord charge me transfer charges which are approx. 35% of the latest selling price, or our relation is like father & son where no charges are to be paid to Landlord.

You cannot claim tenancy rights as you are not the legal heir or son of the tenant.
