Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Wanting to buy a flat in Srirangam with legal disputes.

I am planning to buy a flat in Srirangam, heard from newpapers that this land is currently under a legal dispute with the temple. The ruling is yet to be made on this.

Meanwhile this opportunity has opened up and i am keen to invest on the flat. Can anybody advice on the dispute and advice.

The flat is located in Srinivasa nagar of Thiruvanakaval.
