can a will be challenged if .......

My mother died recently and left behind a will giving 100% of her assets to my younger sister? can a will made be bad in law?

It is required to know your family back ground, and kind of property that was held.

But, unless your mother had self acquired or her own property or stridhan property she cannot make will giving all property to your younger sister.

A will can be challenged for several reasons, including disproportionate distribution.

If the mother has made will in respect of her self owned property and if it is genuine one then the same is binding in law.If you have any suspecion in respect of will, then, you can approach court to get the WILL declared as null and void.However,the given facts are vague as details are missing.
