Will of my property buy under Compensation and Rehablitation act 1954
Dear Sir, I want to know that can i make a WILL of my property which i bought from Govt. under Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 1954, (Appendix XXIV) under Rule 91(8) in Pursuance of rule 33 of the rules under this Act. I want to make it clear that i bought this property by cash (from my income)made payment in installments for many years with interest to the Govt.. I did not received any claim amount from Govt. and not left any self aquired property in West Pakistan. The Claim Amount option in my Conveyance Deed is blank as well as the Cash Amount option is fullfill with the buying amount.
I also have a original letter from Managing Officer (Regional Settlement Commissioner's Office - Govt. Built Property) in which he ordered to Sub Registrar '' I forward herewith a copy of the Conveyance Deed in respect of the Govt. Built Property mentioned as subject executed in favour of Shri
(myself) who was allotted the property under reference and has paid all the sums due from him. It is requested that necessary entry of the transaction may kindly be made in your record under intimation to this office giving the particulars of registration.'' After that i have the Regd.Copy of my property with signaure of two witness and Sub
Registrar.

Whether any Govt can sell a property?
Generally disposition of property by Will is not regarded as transfer. However, in the peculiar facts of the matter, it will be safe to consult your lawyer with all the details.

You are entitled to make a will of the property in question.
