Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

A women namely �B� is the life estate holder in respect of a particular property in Kolkata, West Bengal by virtue of a will mentioning therein that after the death of �B� her legal heirs would be absolute owner in respect of that property.

1. The question is whether �B� is able to develop that property by way of making an agreement with a promoter as a joint venture.

2. The other question is whether the said life estate holder women namely �B� could mortgage the said property in the bank or any where else.
