women the right to equal inheritance of their parents' self-acquired property of her parents we are from a hindu family my parents also hindus and my mother married to my father in the year 1976. Her parents if not willing to give my mother a part of there wealth and they want to give it to there son only.
They are only a family of two one son and my mother (Elder).

In case of self acquired property, son or daughter has no right to any such property during the life time of his/her father/mother, who owns it.

your mother may file a suit for partition of the property and also seek stay and mesne profits provided your maternal grand parents are no more.
