Legal Question in Securities Law in India

After my marriage I had to change my address to that of my husband and applied for change of address via travels agent.I was working and during my application submission was under LOP.So stated that I was a house wife and received the passport and present in US too.But now i received a letter from passport office asking me for a clarification on why not stated that i worked with the company and had given as housewife.I had this doubt and asked my travel agent and they said that the address required for past one year only...Since I was on LOP from Oct 2010 and continued my maternity leave from then and got resigned later i was in my home town only for past 1year.So how now should i submit my clarifications and what proofs required and how to communicate with them as Iam in US right now???

Your false declaration is punishable both under Indian as well as under US laws. As after obtaining passport you would have obtained VISA as well. Consult a Lawyer with all the details immediately. www.lawconcern.com- Chennai & Bangalore.

instead of getting scared, you may retain a lawyer here in india who would represent your case before the passport authority.
