Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in India

-Hi, i am a 20 year old boy n i had sex with my 22 year old girlfriend.

I along with my girlfriend decided to spent whole night in a hotel, without informing our parents.

but wen v reached our home the very next day, came to known that her parents have lodged an FIR that she\'s being missing from whole night.

After this incident, her parents came to my house for marriage proposal but i said that i need some time to think upon it.

The very next day,v both ran from our houses to shimla and stayed there for 2 days, without informing any of our parents.

During this period we had a physical relation as well.

After returning back, i met her parents and they threatened me by filing a case of kidnapping and rape.

Her parents harrased me and made me in writing about all the incident and that i will marry her, with my thumb impression on that.

they also made their daughter right this, and they wanted to make a joint statement and submit it to court.

Both my girlfriend and i want to marry but atleast after 3 years, but her parents are continuously harrasing both of us.

she is 22 years old and m 20 years old,as v both are adults, can then also her parents file a case against me?

My girlfriend completely supports me.

My letter states that:-

On 6th of dec i took my girlfriend to agra, and we spend a whole day and night their.

I frequently visit her house and we spend time together without her parents concern.

I took her to shimla on 9th dec and stayed there for 2 days without her and my parents concern.I love her and want to marry her.I need 1 weeks time to discuss this with my parents and till that i wont call her or meet her.She is completely my responsibility.

*** *** ***

This is what i have written, and she also wrote the same, with both our thumbprints on it , signed by 2 witnesses on it.Her parents want me to marry her in 1 week but we both want atleast 3 years to settle.

will i be on safe side if i make my girlfriend write a letter favouring me,that every done was by her concent and with a thumb impression of her on it.
