Legal Question in Social Security Law in India

my name is ashish. i am 23 years old. i had married in a temple one and a half years back with a girl of my same caste who is 22 years old. i got the trust certificate and then registered in the registrar's office after a month. only myself and my wife and few friends knew about our marriage. because after our marriage we went back to our respective houses. the problem is not caste related at all. the only problem was ego clash between our parents. so only now few days back we told our parents. my parents have agreed for my marriage. but her parents are not accepting it. they are trying to get her married somewhere else. i am not able to contact her for last ten days. is it possible for her parents to get her married somewhere else before they ask my wife to get a divorce from me..?? what should i do to protect my wife and myself..?? i know the place she is right now in rajasthan but her family members are not giving her the phone to talk to her.. will the marriage be vallid if now her parents try to get her married somewhere forcefully before getting a divorce from me..?? when i spoke to my wife ten days back, she told me that she's trying to convince her parents, but if they dont agree finally, she'll come to my place. but now her parents are not letting her go out i guess. what is the best thing that i can do right now..??

You may consider filing a petition for HABEAS CORPUS. The court may direct her personal appearance and ask for her choice. If she get her choice recorded for living with you, the court may send her with you and tell her parents not to interfere.
