Joining Bonus
Received 1 lac as joining bonus and in offer letter it was written that need to return full amt if i leave the company within 2 yrs. After serving 15 monts I decided to leave, company is asking to refund 1 lac. My company has given this amt in sept '07 but in sept '08 pay slip it reflects and after that they have decucted the tax but no TDS issued. Do I need to return the full amt or (1 lac minus income tax)? Is my company take any legal action against me?
