We are making components / parts based on the drawing supplied by our customer. Is it necessary to include the cost of the drawing given by the customer free of cost in our assessable value and pay the excise duty on the value of the component and drawing ? If so, under what provision.

Send complete details by email for an advice as the Valuation for excise duty purposes is facts- specific, like products, who your customers are and where your customers are and nature of drawing etc and cannot be given on a generalized term.
